Who do I translate for?
My professional translation service is primarily aimed at companies operating in the following industries
- Viticulture, wine trade and gastronomy;

- Furniture and interior design / interior decoration.
I also welcome working with private individuals as well as non-profit organisations and associations.

I work on a broad range of text types, which cover a wide range of subjects:

- Instructions, manuals and training materials;

My areas of expertise
As a result of my previous and long-standing experience as a specialist salesman in the wine and fine food business,
I initially focused as a (state-certified) translator on the following areas:
- Viticulture, wine production and wine trade;
- Production and distribution of olive oil and fine food products
- Gastronomy.
My translation services have however gradually extended to the following areas:

Through research and further training, I have been able to acquire in-depth knowledge of these areas, thus providing me with the necessary specialist knowledge.

Proof reading
Do you already have a completed English to German translation, and you'd like to make sure that it's accurate and effective?
I can offer you a precise, prompt proofreading service whereby
- I check the text for grammar, spelling and sentence construction errors and correct them;
- I examine the terminology for accuracy, i.e. the technical terms and phrases used in the text, and make any necessary corrections;
- I check whether the expression and style of the translation are appropriate for the intended reader.
When proofreading a translation, it is essential that I also have the original text.
